About Us
Asprey Lawyers was established in 2014 by Pratima and Hamish Prabhu. Having both worked in established city firms, as senior lawyers, the founders ensure Asprey Lawyers subscribes to a high calibre of professionalism whilst providing an exceptional client focused service.

Pratima Prabhu

Principal Partner
Pratima holds a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Arts (Legal Studies) and a Master of Business Administration (Executive).
Having previously worked as a senior lawyer in numerous large firms in Melbourne, Pratima has over seven years of exposure to all areas of commercial law but specialises in litigation, property law and contractual law. Pratima also has extensive experience in criminal proceedings.
In addition to Asprey Lawyers, Pratima is the owner and manager of numerous successful businesses therefore the advice you receive will always be legally proficient AND commercially sound.
Pratima is fluent in Hindi, and understands Punjabi and Urdu. Outside of law, she enjoys riding (horses and motorcycles), shooting and bridge.
Hamish Prabhu
LLB (Honours), BSc, MFin, ATPL
Partner
Hamish holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), Bachelor of Science and a Master of Finance. In addition to the above qualifications, Hamish has also completed an Airline Transport Pilots Licence.
With over seven years of legal experience, working as a senior lawyer in city firms, Hamish provides clients with excellent technical legal advice. In particular, Hamish specialises in commercial law and litigation.
Hamish's ability to communicate openly with clients and straight forward approach to legal practice enables him to quickly understand and analyse all aspects of a matter. These attributes, combined with his solid grounding in commercial Law, enable Hamish to pursue the most appropriate legal action to achieve the best results for his clients.
Outside of law, Hamish enjoys riding (horses), shooting, bridge and flying.
